The following sibling program are in the South Western Non-Metropolitan Region of Victoria.

These sibling programs cover the local government areas of Ararat, Ballarat, Colac-Otway, Corangamite, Greater Geelong, Glenelg, Golden Plains, Hepburn, Hindmarsh, Horsham, Moorabool, Moyne, Queenscliffe, Northern Grampians, Pyrenees, Southern Grampians, Surf Coast, Warrnambool, West Wimmera and Yarriambiack.

Description: Sibling ‘fun days out’ are being held on a casual basis, though the program is presently looking to expand. Current activities include ice-skating, sailing, picnics, films, and general recreational fun. The aim of the program is to build up a group of siblings for the purpose of friendship, sharing, and expressing.

Depending on the ages of siblings who choose to attend, the group may be divided into age relevance for participants. For siblings, co-ed, aged approximately 6 to 16 years. A small financial contribution is invited from families for each activity.

Target Group: Siblings, co-ed, ages 6 to 16 years
Disabilities: All (except ADHD, they are awaiting additional funding to be able to offer the program to siblings of children with ADHD).
Service Fees: A small financial contribution is invited

Description: The aim of the program is to provide a free space for siblings where they can explore their own identities away from the family context. For siblings, co-ed, primary and secondary school ages together. (Although it is worth noting that secondary school age siblings currently dominate the program so activities are catered more at their level.) The program is not disability specific. Interchange South West also holds information and resources in regards to sibling issues which are available for families to access.
