ACD works at the forefront of policy development to ensure that our members are heard and actively engaged in driving the process of positive change.
Our policy responses, participation on committees and reference groups and ongoing communication with key decision-makers means we are well placed to voice the concerns of our members at every opportunity.
It also includes staying connected to the latest changes to public policy (early childhood, education and disability) as well as having input into future developments.
How you can contribute
As an ACD member you are invited to participate in consultations and other forums as they arise to have direct input into changes affecting the future of your child and family.
Getting our message across to government and the community is never ending and you can help by spreading the word about ACD and the issues that matter to you through your family, friends and support networks.
Our collective voice is made stronger when it’s backed up by the voices of individuals, families and supporters.
